After seating 200 tips I agree. I thought I wanted the clear, but could see very readily the clear tips would disappear on the bench! Black is beautiful, carry on!I don't have any yet, but I love the black tips. Much more distinguished than rainbow colors! Black and copper go good together.
The last of my 120 Barnes looked worse than this. They were still accurate but you wouldn’t have thought that looking at themWell, hopefully I can install these tips better than the blue tipped Barnes I bought...

At least tell us what you shot them in. I got a use for both of those bullets.Hate to say it, but my ladder groups are much tighter with the HHT’s. Shot the .257-95 and the .284-132 (4 of 5 5/8” all touching) today. Groups and data to follow.
Brian was dead set on clear at first i told him black looked best. After him winning the argument its funny how it got changed back to black! After seating 200 tips I agree. I thought I wanted the clear, but could see very readily the clear tips would disappear on the bench! Black is beautiful, carry on!
Forgive my ignorance, but what does CBTO stand for? I plan on getting some 154's for my Tikka 300WSM. I had good luck with Big Game with the 137 HH - anxious to hear your results! So I measured.308 154HHT CBTO and COAL in my 700SA 300WSM and it is bit on short side as expected.
CBTO - 2.259"
COAL - 2.853"
Loaded up ladder with Ramshot Big Game 0.010 jump. Hoping to get out shortly. I am betting this will be good load.
