I know just how that feels. It’s been 23 years ago and I still feel it from time to time. However not wearing a seatbelt and being ejected was what saved my life. Pickup rolled 13 times after I left it. I would have been crushed to pieces if I stayed in. Thats not to say the ground didn’t hurt when I landed but it was better than the alternative.

25 yeas ago, our town dentist lost control of his suburban on black ice going 20-25 around a sharp turn. His youngest son was killed impacted windshield.
Work associate who is slight in stature totaled a Subaru, it had knee airbags which kept her from submarining under the steering wheel.
