Guy at church gave me 3 boxes of 356 Winchester. Anyone remember that failed cartridge. 358 Win 203 Shock Hammer is bullet on the right.

I just sold my .356 Winchester 94AE XTR along with 10 boxes of those factory 250gr loads, 2 boxes of brass and dies. It was mint. I bought the gun in the late 80's, shot it a couple dozen times, threw on a Williams peep, and carried it on my first elk hunt in CO. That factory ammo can fetch over $100/box, as it's unobtainium. You should give your church buddy a new car or something for Christmas. I gobbled up all I could find throughout the 90's. It was a thumper - on both ends, pushing that hunk of lead at 2150fps or so. It was a quick little gun with some serious power. I miss it....sort of....

Gotta load FLAT nose in the 356 Win. The significant recoil could even set off the round nose projectiles in the tube.
