Can I call it a 270 Western...I don't like WSMs!Since ya’lluns are reaming 6.5CM to Beanmore nowadays, methinks it would be of benefit to the shooting world to ream 6.8 Westerns out to 270 WSM to get the added case capacity in a fast twist barrel.
You hush your dirty little mouth. Can I call it a 270 Western...I don't like WSMs!
Homos. The newer generation fellers are pronouncing the WSM as WZMs...icky.
Now you know the Creedmoor crowd don't like it when you bring masculinity and sexual orientations into the conversation.Homos.
Thank you. You'll have to wait til Steve and company get back from Africa. Call Steve. I believe they still make rifles (or rechamber) Steve has/had Beanmore chamber reamers
I think I read that a Creedmoor chamber can easily be reamed out to the Beanmore chambering.Thank you.
In a broad sense, do you know if it makes a difference that it's a Tikka T3x ? Trying to decide to either sell the rifle or convert it for grand kids to use someday.
I believe the .260 cartridge is longer than the manbun case. This means there is material in the chamber allowing enough to cut the chamber to the 6.5 Beanmore .My Tikka T3 was purchased as a 300 WM. I removed the factory barrel and chambered a 6.5 MAX Sherman (6.5 SAUM Imp). Don't know about the CMore, but the 260 Rem (parent cartridge for the Beanmore) is Very similar in size to the CM.
I bought a T3x in 6.5 Creedmoor and sent it to Eric and it came back a 6.5 Beanmore. I have purchased the Beanmore brass and Petersen 260 Rem brass from Steve and prefer the Petersen. Both will have to be fire formed but shoot well enough to hunt with in their pre fire formed state (much like shooting 280 Rem in a 280AI. Currently developing loads for 80hht and 112hht.Thank you.
