Anyone give this a try?
Customer reached out wanting to know if doable. He’s currently shooting a 350 grain bullet at right around 2400fps and smokeless, just under 3000fps.

Has a 26in., 1-18 twist barrel.

Sure why not? But it will all depend on his bullet selection and the required velocity to get it to open, but sure they'll shoot.

If he's not playing with sabo's, then, I have no clue

Fouling might be an issue, but sabots have the same problem when compared to patched round ball. They might want to consider 777 instead of real black (Swiss/Shutzen).

If fouling is bad they might try a couple cardboard wads with a fingernail full of bp lube between them, then seat the bullet on top.
