Any problems running the Hammer .411s in a bore that measures .4120 to .4130"? TBH I don't know what the PDR band heights are because I've ordered but haven't received them to measure yet. Probably just an attack of the worries :ROFLMAO:

Great to see you here, @QuietTexan

I've got a lot of respect for that username over on LRH.

I can't help you on your question, but maybe you can help me - if the bore diameter is .411, what is the groove diameter?

I'm thinking you'll run into trouble in the situation you described, but I'm probably mixed up in my understanding 🤣🤔

Awesome, thanks Steve. I'm working with an older Japanese barrel that's slugging slightly plus sized, but getting a new barrel that's going to be button cut to .412.

Hand Skills - per Pac Nor their groove diameter is .412", lands diameter is .405". There's some info on Cast Boolits saying the original 405 Winchester spec was .4115" grove diameter to match the bullet, but SAAMI spec (which I'm guessing came with the 2008 re-issue by Winchester) specifies .412 grove diameter. Should work well, hopefully 🤞🤞
